Cymru Premier football club The New Saints has partnered with digital ticketing and fan engagement platform Fanbase ahead of the 2024-25 season.
The partnership will help to enhance the Welsh club’s digital content and ticketing offering, with fans able to access the latest news and behind the scenes content, as well as purchasing tickets for home matches via the Fanbase platform.
Fans will then be able to store their tickets in their own Fanbase account or within Apple or Google Wallets, leading to quicker access to Park Hall. The partnership has already begun, with fans able to purchase tickets for The New Saints’ upcoming UEFA Champions League qualifying round one game against Montenegrin side FK Dečić.
“We’re delighted to be partnering with Fanbase who provide a best-in-class digital ticketing and content platform which will revolutionise the club’s ability to engage with new and existing fans,” said Simon O’Reilly, The New Saints’ commercial manager.
“Upgrading our online ticketing offering will help fans have more options to come along to Park Hall throughout what will certainly be an exciting season ahead starting with our UEFA Champions League campaign.”
The new deal further offers the club the ability to grow its marketing database, gain deeper insight into customer trends and improve efficiency on home matchdays. Multi-channel communications such as integrated push notifications will further allow the club to engage fans more effectively.
Jerome McCarthy, head of growth at Fanbase, added: “We’re thrilled to be working with The New Saints during such an exciting time for the club ahead of their European adventure. Everyone at the club is committed to upgrade their ability to engage with their fans and Fanbase will ensure that TNS continue to lead the way on and off the pitch.”
