Etherlive and Spindlewood, which deliver solutions to event operators including IMG, AEG, DP Tour, the Royal Horticultural Society and UK flagship festival Glastonbury, have rebranded to PMY Group from today (Monday).
PMY Group is a full-service technology solutions provider across infrastructure, experience, operations, and intelligence of venues and major events. The Group has origins in stadium technology, but has now broadened its scope across a number of sectors in 14 different countries.
The integration of the two businesses follows PMY’s acquisition of Etherlive in 2021 and Spindlewood in 2022. Aligning operations has allowed for expansion into Europe; upgraded warehousing and operations teams based out of the UK city of Birmingham; and the delivery of new innovations to event and venue operators.
Teams will remain the same, despite the new brand identity for Etherlive and Spindlewood.
“This rebranding highlights our continued dedication to being leaders in event and venue technology,” said Tom McInerney, executive general manager of PMY Event Technology.
“You can expect the same high standards and innovative solutions you associate with Etherlive and Spindlewood, now enhanced by the global strength and expertise of PMY Group.”
Charlie Brownridge, general manager of PMY Event Technology, added: “With the busy summer event season upon us, this rebranding comes at a perfect time. This change reflects our commitment to delivering cutting-edge event technology solutions and creating amazing experiences.”
Additionally, being part of PMY will enable the event technology team to offer more comprehensive solutions and support for event organisers.
“Congratulations to our Etherlive and Spindlewood teams on their outstanding legacy and
success. Their dedication and innovation have set a high standard, and I am excited about the growth and new opportunities that this next phase will bring,” added Paul Yeomans, chief executive of PMY Group.
