The Singapore Lionesses women’s national football team is set to host Macau in the first international friendly of the year on July 16.
Held at the 6,000-capacity Jalan Besar Stadium, tickets have already been placed on sale. Prices will begin from S$12 (£7€8/$9/) for adults and S$6 for concessions – including senior citizens above the age of 60 and students.
Singapore last faced Macau in August 2017, securing a 3-0 win in a friendly also held at Jalan Besar Stadium.
Captain of the Singapore women’s team, Rosnani Azman, said: “We are looking forward to playing in front of our family, friends, and fellow Singaporeans in our first international friendly on home soil after a year.
“We want to show as a team that we are able to put on a good performance and prove ourselves on the pitch. The support of our fans means everything to us, and we are looking forward to seeing all of them in Jalan Besar Stadium, cheering us on.”
The Football Association of Singapore is also offering the opportunity to purchase tickets in groups. Prices start at S$55 for five adult tickets and S$100 for 10 adult tickets.
