Raptor Technologies, a provider of school safety software and solutions in the US, has acquired PayK12, a provider of online ticketing and payment solutions for schools and athletics.

Working with schools from kindergarten to 12th grade, PayK12’s platform enables them to securely process tickets and payments for events including athletics and special occasions, as well as fees, camps, lunch programmes and fundraising activities.

The acquisition aligns with Raptor’s mission of providing schools with technologies that engage parents and the community, while enhancing safety and efficiency.

“Raptor is excited to welcome PayK12 to our growing portfolio of advanced school safety products,” said Gray Hall, chief executive of Raptor Technologies.

“Combining PayK12’s robust ticketing and payment platform with Raptor’s market-leading visitor safety software supports the needs of our customers who are seeking to expand their campus safety perimeters to include school events of all sizes.”

TJ Markland, CEO of PayK12, added: “We are excited to join Raptor Technologies. Together, we can offer schools a robust combination of safety and administrative solutions that empower educators, parents and administrators alike.”
