Vienna’s Wiener Konzerthaus has selected Tixly as its new ticketing partner in a move that has boosted the latter’s presence in Central Europe.

Tixly’s ticketing solutions are set to go live at the venue in 2025 and are said to provide a user-friendly and efficient experience. The operator sees the deal as a significant milestone in the its expansion within the DACH (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) region.

Inaugurated in 1913, the Wiener Konzerthaus has four performance spaces and welcomes more than half a million annual visitors to over 800 events.

“We are incredibly honoured to partner with the Wiener Konzerthaus, an institution that has been at the heart of Vienna’s cultural scene for over a century,” said Tixly managing director Hrefna Sif Jónsdóttir.

“This collaboration not only strengthens our presence in the DACH region but also allows us to contribute to the legacy of one of the world’s most prestigious concert halls.”

The implementation of Tixly’s platform is aimed to enhance the Konzerthaus’ ability to manage its programming which includes hosting orchestras, chamber music, and international festivals such as Wien Modern or Resonanzen.

It furthers Tixly’s presence in the DACH region as it also serves Bergson Kunstkraftwerk in Germany, Jeunesse in Austria, and the Austrian region of Salzkammergut with ticketing solutions.

“The new partnership with Tixly takes us a decisive step further in the continuous development of our organisation,” said Wiener Konzerthaus chief executive Matthias Naske.

“Tixly’s flexible and agile system enables the Wiener Konzerthaus to evolve the central idea of customer-orientation and to raise it to a new and future-oriented level. We look forward to the opportunities this opens up in the area of ticketing and to an intensive and constructive collaboration.”
