Le Poisson Rouge takes ticketing on-chain
New York City music venue Le Poisson Rouge has entered into an exclusive partnership with ticketing platform KYD Labs to bring its ticketing system on-chain through Aptos Labs’ blockchain platform.
The four-year deal makes Le Poisson Rouge the first major American venue to go on-chain according to Aptos.
“A major US venue with hundreds of thousands of tickets per year transitioning to on-chain ticketing is a big step forward for blockchain utility,” said Aptos Labs co-founder Avery Ching.
“Eventually, ticketing will all be on-chain. Better interoperability, directly connecting event organisers to buyers, easy promotions, and verified secondary sales are some big advantages.”
ATBS expands and enhances

ATBS has also released a new user interface which allows websites to process at a faster speed, with tests showing performance boosts of up to 70%.
Tixr partnership to provide “bot-thwarting systems”
World Wide Technology Raceway has partnered with Tixr to carry out its ticketing operations.
Fans are said to benefit from several features such as the Tixr Waitlist, a credit card pre-authorisation system that minimises bot activity for tickets in high demand.
“It was important for us to listen to our fans as we developed our strategy to modernise our ticketing operations,” said executive vice-president and general manager with World Wide Technology Raceway Chris Blair.
“The Tixr team heard our commitment to put our brand and fans first and impressed us with their technology, flexibility, and service commitment built to handle the breadth of experiences we offer at the track.
“We want purchasing to be seamless, mobile-friendly, fair, and enjoyable, and that’s what Tixr brings to the table.”
