Live music entertainment company Mammoth has opened a new touring division which will start by producing hip-hop artist JT’s City Cinderella Tour and Buju Banton’s US tour.
The division is due to be led by Angela Brown and Rob Owens who boast a combined experience of 50 years in the industry.
The pair’s leadership is expected to drive success in the department. They are both relatively recent hires as Owens was named president of global touring in April 2023 while Brown joined as president of global tour marketing in September last year.
“I’m proud to be part of a team that has such a strong track record,” said Owens.
“We are focused on growth, creating long lasting partnerships, and continuing to expand Mammoth’s imprint domestically and internationally.”
Brown added: “Being part of a team charged with launching a new component of an already proven industry leader like Mammoth is a professional milestone.”
“Mammoth has some exciting live entertainment announcements coming this year and I’m eager to lead the marketing team to success.”
Owens is based in Mammoth’s new touring office which is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee.
His previous experience has seen him book shows and tours for the likes of Glass Animals, Maggie Rogers, and Rufus du Sol among others. Prior to joining Mammoth, Brown has worked at Live Nation and marketed shows from artists such as Beyonce and Billy Joel.
