Scott Jablonski has been appointed as the new chief operating officer of 3D Digital Venue.
Jablonski has worked across multiple industries for over 25 years, leading major tech product releases, launching sports teams and arenas, and mentoring founding teams in growing their enterprises.
Francis Casado, co-founder and head of international business development at 3D Digital Venue, said: “In his new role at 3D Digital Venue, Scott will be responsible for overseeing our operations and driving strategic growth initiatives. His extensive experience and leadership will be invaluable as we continue to innovate and expand our digital venue solutions.”
Festival pioneer Sacha Lord has left The Warehouse Project and Parklife, Sacha Lord some 20 years after co-founding them.
The resignation comes following a deal to transfer his shares to LN Gaiety – a joint venture between Live Nation and Gaiety Investments which acquired a majority stake in the businesses in 2016.
“In 2021 the deal was agreed and in my book, released in April, I mentioned I would be stepping back and today, following a transfer of shares, is the day that happens,” Lord said.
“This wasn’t an easy decision to make. Parklife and The Warehouse Project have been my whole life for the past two decades.”
Lord says that the decision means he can focus more time on his roles as a Night Time Economy Advisor and chair of the Night Time Industries Association.
Prior to the first edition of SXSW London, a trio of senior hires have been made.
Former Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity Clare Morris has been appointed as director of marketing and communications.
Anna Bogutskaya joins as head of screen having previously worked with the BFI and Edinburgh International Festival. Beth Greenacre also joins as visual arts advisor.
Warner Chappell Music has appointed Tat Tong as vice-president of artists and repertoire (A&R) and creative in the Asia Pacific region.
In the role, Tong will be responsible for developing and executing creative strategies, identifying new talent, and overseeing the development of new music projects.
Venue Management Association has announced Joel Edmondson as chief executive to replace Michael Brierley.
Brierley will remain with the organisation in a part-time capacity as company secretary.
