Parking technology platform Flash has been tapped by Live Nation to become the official parking provider for 41 of the entertainment giant’s clubs, concert halls, theatres and other venues in the US.
Flash’s ParkWhiz solution will benefit Live Nation guests by enabling them to book and pre-pay for parking online when they purchase tickets, or any time before the show.
The three-year deal expands on a nearly decade-long partnership between Flash and Live Nation, which has seen more than three million parking passes issued so far. Specific venues include multiple House of Blues clubs, Brooklyn Bowl, Fillmore locations and other spaces across the US.
“Live Nation has incredible venues at prime locations that, by virtue of their dense urban surroundings, can make parking a challenging experience for fans,” said Ryan Kern, vice president and general manager of events for Flash.
“We’re making sure parking doesn’t get in the way of fans who are eager to get in the doors.”
Those purchasing tickets through Live Nation will see the option to buy a parking pass at checkout. Users will also see parking options on the ‘Plan Your Visit’ section of the venue’s website, as well as event reminder emails leading up to the event date.
Kern added: “The unforgettable shows Live Nation creates are about connecting artists and fans in distinctive venues, and the partnership we’ve built over the years through our shared high standards for guest experience are a huge source of pride for our team at Flash.”
Live Nation recently hailed record profitability thanks to a strong concert line-up during the second quarter of 2024.
Revenue was up 7% year-on-year to over $6bn (£4.7bn/€5.5bn) during the three months to June 31, 2024.
