Major League Soccer’s (MLS) Sporting Kansas City has extended a ticketing partnership SeatGeek.
The length of the multi-year agreement was not disclosed.
SeatGeek signed up as the franchise’s first-ever primary ticketing partner back in 2016. Since then, it has expanded its influence across MLS, as well as the broader North American major league landscape.
In May, SeatGeek announced ticketing deal extensions with long-time MLS partners Minnesota United and Portland Timbers.
Two months earlier, SeatGeek increased its Major League Baseball portfolio by entering into multiple partnerships with 10 new teams.
“Our decision to extend our partnership reaffirms the strength and reliability of SeatGeek’s technology,” said Sporting Kansas City chief revenue officer Gregg Allen. “SeatGeek’s innovative approach has significantly elevated our matchday operations and fan engagement. Continuing this partnership allows us to achieve new heights together and delivers the best user experience for our fans.”
The team typically packs out 18,500-capacity Children’s Mercy Park.
