The Indianapolis Colts NFL team has entered into a new partnership with Shift4 that will see the latter power ticketing transactions at Lucas Oil Stadium this season.
The Colts are set to combine Shift4’s suite of payment processing solutions with Ticketmaster in an attempt to make the ticket-buying experience easier for fans.
“The Colts strive to create a world-class experience for our fans, from the moment they purchase a ticket to the time they leave the stadium after a game,” said Roger VanDerSnick, Colts’ chief sales and marketing officer.
“Our partnership with Shift4, and the use of its technology solutions, will help us make our entire ticketing process even more smooth and efficient for our fans.”
Shift4’s technology is used across a number of major professional sports league in the US, as well as colleges and entertainment venues.
It is aimed at simplifying operations for businesses while enhancing the customer experience.
“We’re thrilled to partner with the Colts to ensure their fans have a flawless experience when buying their tickets,” said Shift4’s chief commercial officer Michael Isaacman.
“Our solutions streamline operations for the most complex, fast-paced commerce environments in the world, whether online or in-person.”
The Colts are due to play their first home regular season fixture against the Houston Texans on September 8.
