Enjoy The Weeknd

Fans will be able to watch The Weeknd’s (pictured) concert at São Paulo’s Estádio MorumBIS on September 7 from the comfort of their own home, after the singer and his team struck a deal with YouTube to stream the event for free. The concert stream will air on his own channel, which has 35.6 million subscribers. A chat window will enable fans to purchase merchandise online and 10% of the net proceeds will be donated to BrazilFoundation’s Brazilian Soul Fund.

Experience U2 at Sphere Las Vegas again

Sticking with the theme and following U2’s opening residency at the Las Vegas Sphere last year, the rock band has announced the debut of its ‘V-U2 An Immersive Concert Film at Sphere Las Vegas’. The film has been directed by band member the Edge and his wife choreographer Morleigh Steinberg. It will be another chance for fans to catch the concert, which opened with the impressive venue. The shows, originally directed by Willie Williams, will be brought to Sphere from September 5.

Join the party

SeatGeek has introduced a new ticket-sharing feature called ‘Parties’ that will enable fans to invite, share and manage tickets as a group. The new feature has been inspired by apps such as Airbnb and Rest, and will offer a way for ticket-holders to send event invites to a group while still maintaining control of all the tickets.
