The British band performed across four nights at the Finnish capital’s Olympic Stadium between July 27-31. Roughly 44,500 people attended each concert, which formed part of Coldplay’s ‘Music of the Spheres World Tour’.
Live Nation Finland said this marked the highest number of ticket sales for a single artist or band in Finland during one visit. It was also the first time a tour had played four nights in a row at the Olympic Stadium, which has only previously held two concerts from the same tour concurrently.

Coldplay have been championing sustainable touring with their latest global jaunt, pledging to cut emissions by 50% compared to their previous tour in 2016-17.
The band brought DHL on board as the tour’s official logistics partner, with a focus on using advanced biofuels in the air, and electric vehicles on land.
On stage, Coldplay adopted ways to power production through solar, sustainable biofuels and grid renewables. In a collaboration with car manufacturer BMW, the band helped to develop a mobile, rechargeable show battery made from recyclable BMW i3 batteries.
In June last year, Coldplay revealed that they had managed to reduce CO2e emissions by 47%.
Improving on this, Coldplay then revealed in June this year that they had smashed their sustainability targets, with the Music of the Spheres World Tour witnessing a major 59% reduction in CO2e emissions.
