Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher made the announcement this morning (Tuesday) after hinting that a comeback was possible over recent days. The tour will feature 14 dates across Cardiff, London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Dublin.
Tickets are set to go on sale at 9am BST (8am IST) on August 31, available through Ticketmaster and Gigs and Tours. The tour is being promoted by SJM Concerts, Live Nation, MCD Productions and DF Concerts & Events.
Beginning with the Welsh capital, Oasis will play at Principality Stadium on July 4- 5, before playing four dates at Heaton Park in Manchester (which hosts events such as Parklife festival) between July 11 and 20.
This will be followed by shows at Wembley Stadium in London on July 25-26 and August 2-3, before travelling up to Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh on August 8-9. The last of the currently scheduled shows will take place on August 16-17 at Croke Park in Dublin.
The Gallagher brothers had been teasing the news of a tour on their social media platforms, sharing a clip of the date ‘27.08.24’.
There had been rumours that Oasis would perform 10 shows at Wembley and Etihad Stadium in Manchester, respectively, but this will not be the case. Oasis will not be performing a headline slot at UK flagship festival Glastonbury, either.
Oasis – as a whole – were last due to perform at Rock en Seine in Paris in 2009, but Noel Gallagher walked away following a reported spat backstage.
In a post on X, both Liam and Noel Gallagher wrote: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”
