TEG Live’s managing director Tim McGregor has been appointed global head of touring to lead the promoter group across its concert touring and festival portfolio.
McGregor has been the managing director of TEG Live since joining in 2016. In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing the continued growth across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, the UK, Europe and North America. TEG’s portfolio of global touring businesses include TEG Live, TEG Dainty, TEG Van Egmond, TEG MJR, Handsome Tours, Laneway Festival, TEG Asia, TEG Live Europe and TEG North America.
“I am delighted to appoint Tim to the role of global head of touring. Tim’s outstanding track record in the live entertainment industry draws on more than three decades of experience. His in-depth industry knowledge and excellent business acumen makes him the ideal choice to lead the overall concert and festival touring strategy for TEG across the globe,” said TEG Group chief executive Geoff Jones.

Ticketpay, a provider of ticketing solutions, has appointed Christoph Immel as vice president of leisure ticketing.
Immel was previously the managing director of Beckerbillett in the German city of Hamburg, and will play a key role in shaping Ticketpay’s strategic direction in the leisure and culture ticketing sector.
Amy Trynka has started a new position as director of ticketing at Premier League football club Liverpool.
Elsewhere, UBS Arena and the New York Islanders have named Adam Cross as senior vice president, corporate partnerships.
In his new role, Cross will oversee all corporate partnerships, partner activation and strategy for UBS Arena and the NHL’s Islanders.
All Things Live Denmark has strengthened its promoter team thanks to the addition of Snorri Astradsson and Louis Andersen-Risager.
Astradsson founded Reykjavík-based concert promoter Garcia Events in 2021 in his home country of Iceland. Garcia Events has promoted acts such as Skepta, Sammy Virji and more. Andersen-Risager has previously held a role in London with UTA, and as a booker for a number of Danish venues.
Chairman and chief executive of ASM Global (APAC), Harvey Lister, has announced the appointment of Meagen Walker as group director of arena operations, replacing Tim Worton, who announced his retirement earlier this year.
Walker has held management roles with some of Australia’s most successful and high-profile venues including Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena, Margaret Court Arena, John Cain Arena and Palais Theatre.
Walker will join ASM Global on October 10 from her current role with Live Nation.
“The depth and scale of Meg’s experience in the operation of major events and live entertainment is the perfect fit to lead our portfolio of world class arenas, frequently featured in Billboard, Pollstar and Rolling Stone,” said Lister.
“Both Meg Walker and Tim Worton have long been recognised as legends in the industry and we are so fortunate to be the recipients of their expertise and professionalism as part of our management team.”
Worton will work alongside Walker during the transition period before retiring after 30 years with ASM Global (APAC) to pursue a pastoral chaplaincy role.
