The event is set to take place at the Sphere in Las Vegas which is set to operate at a maximum capacity of 20,000, with UFC president Dana White confirming that plans are in place for standing tickets in addition to seated ones.
The octagon is set to be placed at one end of the venue similar to a concert stage.
This means that the standing viewers will all be on one side, with limited standing available on the other side of the cage.
The high prices may be down to the $17m that the UFC is spending on the event.
Bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley of the United States is set to face Georgia’s Merab Dvalishvili in the headline fight.
The bout is a highly anticipated one with Dvalishvili currently ranked as the best bantamweight fighter in the UFC.
The other main event is a bout between the women’s flyweight champion Alexa Grasso of Mexico and the former champion Valentina Shevchenko from Kyrgyzstan.
A featherweight match-up between the US’ Brian Ortega and Brazilian Diego Lopes is also on the card.
Should the event experience high ticket sales, then the UFC could break its gate record from UFC 205.
UFC 205 took place in November 2016 at Madison Square Garden in New York and produced a $17.7m gate.
