Oasis ticket reseller Twickets has committed to introducing a cap on its booking fees after facing criticism for its high prices of the band’s reunion tour.

The company, which claims to be an ethical reseller, was castigated for its fees with one fan page stating that it would be charged a booking fee of £138 ($180/€160) for two tickets that were being sold for £488 each.

A rush to the secondary ticketing market came after Ticketmaster was also criticised for its dynamic pricing model. This model saw fans wait for hours in line for tickets only to be told the price had skyrocketed when they were available to buy.

This prompted UK government officials, such as Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy, to call for an investigation into the use of dynamic pricing in concert ticket sales.

“Due to the exceptional demand for the Oasis tour in 2025, Twickets have taken the decision to lower our booking fee to 10% + a 1% transactional fee (to cover bank charges) for all buyers of their tickets on our platform,” said Twickets founder Richard Davies.

“In addition we have introduced a fee cap of £25 per ticket for these shows. Sellers of tickets already sell free of any Twickets charge.

“This ensures that Twickets remains hugely competitive against the secondary market, including sites such as Viagogo, Gigsberg and StubHub.”

The reunion tour is set to take place next summer, with 17 dates between July 4 and August 17 in London, Edinburgh, Cardiff, and Dublin.

Initially there were 14 shows planned, but huge demand led to three more being added.
