Vivenu has appointed former Festicket executive Yonas Blay as senior director of festivals and music EMEA.

With over a decade of experience in the ticketing industry, Blay (pictured left) brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Vivenu. Based in London, he will focus on expanding and strengthening Vivenu’s festival and music business, leveraging his deep industry connections and strategic vision to enhance the company’s market position.

Vivenu said the appointment underscores its commitment to expanding its presence in the festival and music industry across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Blay said: “Vivenu has really developed an incredible reputation as an innovative platform that delivers for its clients and it’s fantastic to be part of what I consider the future of ticketing. I am looking forward to doing my part in the company’s continued and in doing so, establishing Vivenu as the best-in-class ticketing solution in the music and festival sector.”

Whitehead joins Seat Unique

Dan Whitehead has become business development manager at Seat Unique following a seven-year term with Lancashire CCC.

Whitehead (pictured centre) held a range of business development roles during his time at Emirates Old Trafford. He said: “I’ve experienced some fantastic moments during my time, especially the 2019 Cricket World Cup and Ashes test!”

Two Circles has appointed three senior executives to lead its new German operation in Cologne.

The new team is led by marketing expert Lars Stegelmann, who has previously worked for Nielsen Sports and UEFA, and strategy consultants and data specialists Sebastian Kurczynski and Dr. Jan Dreisbach. They will be supported by existing employees, Kristian Gotsch, managing director EMEA, and Bettina Baer, client service director.

Leonardo Giammarioli (pictured right) has become the new chief global business development officer at Italian Serie A club SSC Napoli. Giammarioli was previously head of internationalisation at German club Bayer Leverkusen and also enjoyed a spell with AS Roma.

Pallett takes new role in Hong Kong

Jon Pallett has been promoted to the role of head of communications at Hong Kong China Rugby.

Pallett was previously marketing manager at the company, having been appointed following an introduction at TheStadiumBusiness ASIA.

He said: “I look forward to working with James Farndon, Bryan Rennie and the wonderful team at HKCR at a hugely exciting time for the whole organisation, in particular our Hong Kong China representative squads and the Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens.”

Siva Krishnan has become head of sports and entertainment, Asia at Miller Insurance.

Krishnan has worked as an independent sports business consultant for the past three years, having spent over 25 years in various positions across the sports industry including in sports business and eEvents management.

Miller Insurance said: “His appointment continues the expansion of Miller’s market leading Sports and Entertainment team, bringing its specialist capabilities into new geographies, in line with the business’ broader growth strategy. For APAC, the focus will be on live events, sporting events and tours, sport associations as well as film and TV.”
