Grammy Award-winning US rock band Maroon 5 have announced a major Asian tour for 2025 that will take in eight countries.
The band, whose hits include ‘Moves Like Jagger’, will play eight dates in six countries in the region next year. The run in Asia comes shortly after Maroon 5 headline this year’s Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix concert in the UAE in December.
Maroon 5’s Asia tour is to take in The Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Malaysia and Taiwan between January and February 2025. The tour is promoted by Live Nation Asia, with the pre-sale for three concerts in Japan already live.
The run begins on January 29 at Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, The Philippines before heading to Jakarta International Stadium in Indonesia and Bangkok’s Impact Arena.
Maroon 5 will then play three dates at Japan’s Tokyo Dome, which has a capacity of 55,000. The band then visit Malaysia’s National Hockey Stadium in Kuala Lumpur before the run finishes in Taiwan’s Kaohsiung National Stadium on February 14.
Maroon 5 have sold more than 130 million records to date, while 2010 hit ‘Moves Like Jagger’ is believed to be the second most downloaded song of all time.
