TicketEzy, a New Zealand ticketing company backed by United Group Live Limited, has chosen Nuweb Group as its exclusive technology partner.
The partnership will see TicketEzy migrate its entire ticketing infrastructure to Nuweb Group’s cloud-based solution.
This move will add several new features to the TicketEzy platform including advanced ticketing, reserved seating capabilities, and integrated ePOS (electronic point of sale) features.
Jordan Bailey, founder of TicketEzy, stated: “We had no hesitation in selecting Nuweb as our tech partner to help us scale the business and realise our growth ambitions. They bring fresh ideas to the industry and offer a high degree of innovation within their software.”
For Nuweb Group, this marks their entry into New Zealand, opening doors to further expansion across the Asia-Pacific region.
“We’re thrilled to welcome TicketEzy as a partner, marking our first step into the New Zealand market. This partnership aligns perfectly with our vision. By combining TicketEzy’s local expertise with the reach of our global ticketing platform, we can deliver significant value to their clients.” said Jose San Miguel, managing director of Nuweb Group.
Opportunities arise for regional players
The TicketEzy-Nuweb partnership underscores a broader shift in the ticketing industry.
As the market becomes increasingly fragmented, opportunities arise for regional players to carve out significant niches by offering localised services backed by world-class technology.
Companies are looking to outsource critical tech infrastructure to specialised partners, allowing them to focus on core competencies such as market penetration and customer relationships.
Nuweb Group’s platform, known for its flexibility and extensive customization options through APIs, SDKs, and embeddable components, positions TicketEzy to compete effectively in this evolving landscape.
As the events and ticketing industry continues to evolve, partnerships like this one between TicketEzy and Nuweb Group may well set the standard for how regional players can achieve local success and international ambitions.
