US star Olivia Rodrigo has expanded her affordable ticket initiative by playing a huge gig in The Philippines where all seats will cost just $25.
Rodrigo is set to bring the Asian leg of her Guts Tour to an end with a new date on October 5 at the 55,000-capacity Philippine Arena, which is the world’s largest indoor venue.
The ‘Good 4 U’ singer announced that all tickets for the Silver Star Show will cost PHP 1,500 – the equivalent of $25. The show’s moniker references the Silver Star initiative that Rodrigo launched earlier this year to offer some discounted tickets at each of her Guts Tour dates. By way of comparison, tickets for this weekend’s show in Bangkok cost at least $53, with the most expensive at around $170.
Tickets go on sale this Saturday with a maximum of four purchases per person for unspecified seats within the venue. Those successful will discover their seat location on September 28.
All proceeds from the Silver Star Show will go towards Rodrigo’s Fund 4 Good initiative, which seeks to support projects championing women’s rights around the world.
The Philippines gig will be the 10th and final show of the Live Nation-promoted Guts Tour’s Asian leg. Rodrigo will open the run in Bangkok on Sunday ahead of dates in Seoul, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Singapore. She will then play eight concerts in Australia, with shows lined up in Sydney and Melbourne.
The Guts Tour began in the US in March before switching to Europe in April and then returning to North America in the summer. Dates have also been announced for South America in 2025.
