The Miami Heat basketball franchise has partnered with Shift4 to operate its ticketing transactions for games at the Kaseya Center.
The NBA side is aiming to improve the ticket sale process for its fans and states that Shift4’s payment solution will be able to achieve that.
“Shift4’s technology improves Kaseya Center’s ticketing efficiency and reliability,” said the Heat Group’s business operations president, Eric Woolworth.
“We always want our guests to have as seamless and enjoyable an experience as possible and this partnership with Shift4 is another step toward that goal.”
The Miami Heat is due to begin its campaign for the 2024-25 season next month with a preseason fixture against the Charlotte Hornets on October 8.
Fans will then be able to see the team at the 19,600-seat Kaseya Center for the first time this season two days later on October 10 when the Atlanta Hawks travel to Florida.
“We’re thrilled to partner with the Heat to deliver a world-class ticketing experience to the team and their fans,” said Shift4’s senior vice-president of online payments and venues Anthony Perez.
“Our payments tech provides a seamless checkout process to meet the fast-paced, high-volume demands of today’s sporting venues.”
