Coldplay’s success during their 2024 European stadium shows, as well as the announcement of eight new concerts in the UK, has led to the band extending their Music of the Spheres World Tour by adding performances in Abu Dhabi, Mumbai, Seoul, Hong Kong and more.

The tour originally kicked off in March 2022 and has sold more than 10 million tickets across Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. The 10 million ticket sales make the tour the most highly attended by a group of all time.

Performances will include Coldplay’s first full-length touring appearance in India following their 2016 slot at Global Citizen Festival, as well as the band’s first shows in Hong Kong since 2009, Abu Dhabi since 2016 and Seoul since 2017.

Coldplay’s new album ‘Moon Music’ will launch on October 4, with the band set to perform a number of hits from both ‘Music of the Spheres’ and the new offering.

The 2025 dates across Asia, India and the United Arab Emirates include one night at Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi on January 11, and two concerts at Mumbai’s DY Patil Sports Stadium on January 18-19.

In April, the band will travel to Hong Kong for three performances at the new Kai Tak Stadium from April 09-12 before heading to Seoul for four shows at Goyang Stadium between April 16-22.

Fans in Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong and Seoul can now register for first access to tickets in the presale. The presale for Abu Dhabi will begin on September 25, with the general onsale following on September 27. For Mumbai, the general onsale will begin on September 22.

The Coldplay(.com) presale for the Hong Kong dates will begin on October 7, while the Klook experience package presale will begin on October 8. The general onsale will follow on October 10. Meanwhile, the Coldplay(.com) presale for Seoul will begin on September 24 with the general onsale scheduled for September 27.

Coldplay have also confirmed they will make a limited number of Infinity Tickets available for the shows, which will be available from November 22. Infinity Tickets are released for every Coldplay show in the name of accessibility, with prices as close to €20 (£17/$22) in the local currency as possible. The tickets must be bought in pairs, with a maximum of two tickets per customer.

The band still have a number of dates left to play in 2024, including four nights at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on October 30-31 and November 2-3. Coldplay will then hop over to Sydney for four Accor Stadium dates between November 6-10, and then on to New Zealand city Auckland for three shows at Eden Park on November 13-16.

Earlier this week, Coldplay revealed they would be playing a number of dates in the English cities of Hull and London in support of Music Venue Trust in August next year.
