We Group UK has acquired a 10% stake in event budgeting platform Eventwise as part of its efforts to support a collaborative approach across the events industry.
Event production specialist We Group UK provides festival and event production services through London-based agency We Are The Fair; creative production in the public realm through We Are Placemaking; and operations, health and safety, and licensing services through We Are OPS.
The company has helped to deliver events across the UK, Europe, the US and further afield.
Eventwise offers event organisers comprehensive financial management tools. The Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) boasts seamless integrations with ticketing companies Eventbrite and Skiddle, and accounting platform Xero.
This helps to streamline live event firms’ operations, positioning budgeting, forecasting, stakeholder management, approvals and accounting all in one place.
Since its launch, Eventwise has already worked with UK clients such as Noisily Festival, Brighton On The Beach, Brighton & Hove Pride and more.
Nick Morgan, chief executive of We Group UK (pictured) said: “At We Group, we work with innovative, industry-leading companies, Eventwise being one of them.
“Like us, the Eventwise team really care about making the industry a better place, and their robust solutions align perfectly with our ongoing mission to support the independent sector – particularly in this difficult climate.
“We’re really excited to announce this new investment, and look forward to seeing event organisers benefit from this streamlined approach to finance.”
We Group UK has also previously invested in Bristol-headquartered creative platform and independent arts centre, Lost Horizon, as well as marketing agency advisory Capital A.
