Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium is set for a busy summer of hosting duties next year, as it looks to welcome iconic US acts Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band in June.

The announcement follows the news that British-Albanian singer-songwriter Dua Lipa is also set to perform on June 24-25 at the stadium.

Today (Tuesday) it was revealed that American singer-songwriter Billy Joel will return to Liverpool for the first time in 45 years. The Anfield performance on June 21 will be one of just two performances in Europe in 2025.

Season ticket-holders for both the men’s and women’s football teams, LFC Official Members and season hospitality members will be able to register their interest until tomorrow (October 2) to purchase up to four tickets.

The general sale will begin on October 4, with tickets also available through AEG Presents.

Also announced today, Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band will play at Anfield on June 4, as part of their 2025 European tour run.

Tickets will go on general sale on October 11, with presale details to be announced early next week. Springsteen will also play two dates at Manchester’s new Co-op Live arena on May 17 and May 20 next year.

Anfield is traditionally home to Premier League club Liverpool, and has hosted a number of sell-out concerts from international artists including Taylor Swift.

According to the club, holding major concerts at Anfield over the last five years has helped to boost the local economy and provide thousands of jobs.

Since 2019, a total of seven artists have played 11 concerts at Anfield with close to half a million people visiting the stadium. The local economy has been boosted by more than £31m (€37m/$41m) during this time.
