Tickets go on sale for UEFA Women’s Euro 2025

Tickets have today (Tuesday) launched for the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 at a special event held at the Jungfraujoch in the Bernese Alps in Switzerland.

The Jungfraujoch is the highest-altitude railway station in Europe, and offers beautiful views of the surrounding glaciers and snow.

The country is set to host next year’s competition, with roughly 720,000 tickets made available today in the general sale.

During this first ticket release, more than 250,000 tickets for all 31 matches of the tournament will be available on a first come, first served basis. Football fans can purchase up to 10 tickets per match, with prices starting from CHF 25 (£22/€27/$30). Accessibility tickets will also be available from CHF 25 and one companion ticket can be requested for free.

A further 120,000 tickets will be held back for sale to supporters of the 16 participating national teams, following the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 final tournament draw on December 16 at the Swiss Tech Convention Centre in Lausanne, Switzerland.

“The 2025 UEFA Women’s Euro will be another pivotal moment for the future of women’s football. This tournament goes beyond showcasing Europe’s top talent – it embodies UEFA’s deep commitment to elevating the sport and expanding its reach across the continent,” commented UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin.

“We are eager to see the passion it will ignite in host cities and beyond, as it offers a powerful platform to inspire the next generation of fans and players. This is more than a sporting event – it celebrates progress and immense potential in women’s football.”

Tickets will be delivered via the official UEFA Mobile Tickets app, which allows fans to securely download, transfer, keep or assign a guest a ticket.

An official resale platform will launch in the spring, allowing fans that can no longer make it to resell their tickets at face value.

Additionally, ticket-holders travelling within Switzerland will benefit from free public transport. Their tickets will be valid on matchday for a second-class round trip between any Swiss locality and the match venue. This scheme is similar to the one utilised at this year’s men’s Euro, and hopes to encourage fans to choose low-carbon transport.

The UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 will be held from July 2-27 across eight host cities in Switzerland including Basel – where the opening game and final will be held – Bern, Geneva, Zurich, St. Gallen, Lucerne, Thun and Sion.

“UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 will be more than just a tournament, it will be another signpost that women’s football is on an unstoppable path,” added Nadine Kessler, UEFA managing director of women’s football.

“Our world-class players and teams will be centre stage for the most watched, most competitive and the most attended Women’s Euro ever. Our goal is to sell all 720,000 tickets and we want fans from Switzerland, Europe and beyond to join us as we make history next summer.”
