Tickets for Coldplay’s Hong Kong shows have already appeared on reselling platforms for up to three times their original price.
According to a report from the South China Morning Post, tickets have already been placed on Facebook and general resale platform Carousell.
Tickets for the British band’s shows went on sale yesterday (Monday) via the artist presale, with the Klook presale taking place today. The Live Nation presale will begin tomorrow followed by the general sale on Thursday.
Prices started at HK$399 (£39/€47/$51) and went as high as HK$2,099 for seated tickets. Standing tickets started at HK$1,399.
Coldplay announced in September that they would be extending their Music of the Spheres World Tour by adding dates in Abu Dhabi, Mumbai, Seoul, Hong Kong and more.
The new dates will also celebrate the band’s new album ‘Moon Music’ which launched last week.
Three dates have been scheduled for the brand new Kai Tak Sports Park on April 9, 11 and 12 next year. It will be the first time since 2009 that Coldplay have performed in Hong Kong.
