Future expands with Shelbourne, Drogheda
Future Ticketing has extended its partnerships with League of Ireland football clubs Shelbourne FC and Drogheda United. The digital ticketing platform has also confirmed a 19% increase in attendances this season across the men’s top football competition, which is known as SSE Airtricity League for sponsorship reasons.
Intellitix launches upgraded ITX POS
Intellitix, a Canadian provider of RFID and cashless payment solutions for live events, has launched ITX POS. The ITX POS suite is in part a renaming of Intellitix’s existing point-of-sale (POS) solutions. Additionally, Intellitix has launched RFID POS. ITX POS is a standard point-of-sale solution enabling seamless payments through credit/debit cards, mobile devices and digital wallets. ITX POS+ is an advanced version of the standard option, but also includes RFID capabilities for enhanced guest interactions and data collection. The ITX RFID POS combines RFID with the convenience of card-present transaction and mobile payments, and funds can be added onsite. The solution simplifies transactions, and provides valuable insights into guest behaviour allowing event organisers to optimise operations and maximise revenue.
Turning set lists into playlists
Apple Music has unveiled a new feature that allows artists to turn their concert set lists into playlists. Apple Music for Artists’ Set List integrates with Bandsintown to create tour-related playlists and increase concert discovery. Artists will be able to create set lists for individual shows and entire tours that will be displayed on Apple Music, as well as Shazam Artist Pages and Shazam Concert Pages.
