Birmingham’s bp pulse LIVE has revealed its new look following the beginning of a rebrand in September and prior to its opening season this month.
The arena is due to host its first eight shows as the fully rebranded bp pulse LIVE with acts such as Kasabian, the Corrs, and Charli XCX all set to perform.
The opening season is also due to see the launch of the new bp pulse EVIP Lounge which will reward electric vehicle drivers by giving them a dedicated entrance to an exclusive space with access to a “bespoke food and drinks menu”.
EV drivers also have the option to charge before or during a gig at one of the EV charge points located on the NEC campus located near to the arena.
“We are all so excited to reveal the new look bp pulse LIVE,” said the venue’s premium and partnership director Alistair Spiers.
“This partnership is incredibly important to us as it will enable us to give a better experience for our customers. We can’t wait to welcome them all to the Arena to see the new look!”
bp pulse Live will also be running competitions on its social media channels to give customers the chance to win tickets for their favourite artists.
The venue’s opening season will begin on Friday (November 8) with a show from Kasabian before UB40 plays the following day. Charli XCX is then set to round out the month’s performances on November 29 with the penultimate leg of her Brat tour.
The 15,685-capacity arena opened in December 1980 and was formerly known as the Resorts World Arena before adopting the new name in September.
It became the Resorts World Arena in 2018 through a partnership with Genting UK and prior to that was known as the NEC Arena from the early 1980s until 2008.
It is operated by the NEC Group which also runs the Utilita Arena Birmingham among other venues.
