Cairns Performing Arts Centre (CPAC) has appointed TixTrack, a Los Angeles-headquartered digital ticketing solutions business, to manage growing ticketing requirements across its venues.

TixTrack’s appointment follows an extensive due diligence, capability analysis and tender process. The new partnership will support CPAC’s portfolio of performance spaces including CPAC Theatre, CPAC Studio and Munro Martin Parklands, as well as other council-run venues such as Tank Arts Centre and the Courthouse Gallery.

CPAC’s venues will utilise the Nliven ticketing system, which is a reserved seating ticketing platform that has been designed for optimum delivery via a mobile device. Nliven is entirely cloud-based, and offers user-friendly back-office management tools and integrated features such as House Seats and Group Sales modules, API access for resellers, Web Hook integrations, Pixel Tracking, Digital Tickets, Access Control and Box Office counter services.

“We are delighted to be able to support Cairns Performing Arts Centre and Cairns Regional Council provide world-class ticketing for patrons at their venues,” commented chief executive and co-founder of TixTrack, Steven Sunshine.

“We are incredibly proud to have been chosen to manage their ticketing needs across their venues and ensure the customer experience purchasing their tickets is as excellent as the experience they will have enjoying performances there.”

TixTrack has served other venues in Australia including the Theatre Royal Sydney, Canberra Theatre Centre, Queensland Performing Arts Centre, Queensland Museum, Art Gallery of New South Wales, Bundanon Art Museum and Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art.

CPAC will begin integrating TixTrack’s software from early 2025.
