The Coliseum d’Amiens multi-sport arena in France is to stage its first fully digital ticketing event.

The home of top-tier ice hockey team Gothiques d’Amiens will roll out digital ticketing ahead of ‘The Sandman’s Daughter’ ice show in December. Venue officials said the initiative will accelerate the modernisation of the 3,000-capacity Coliseum, which opened in 1996.

The digital drive will be powered by Eventori, the ticketing technology platform provided by Wiremind. The ice show will be a first cultural event for Eventori, whose partners include French Ligue 1 football club Paris St Germain and LNB Pro A basketball team AS Monaco Basket.

The Eventori platform offers a ticketing back office, sales and CRM tools, an access control system, and mobile ticketing.

Samuël Richez, the Coliseum’s communications manager, said: “We are delighted to collaborate with Eventori for the launch of our online ticketing system. As a modest-sized structure, we needed a solution that is both powerful and easy to implement. Eventori perfectly meets these criteria, offering great adaptability to our specific needs. The ease of use and rapid deployment will allow us to focus on the essentials: providing an intuitive experience for our spectators for our upcoming show, The Sandman’s Daughter. The Eventori tool supports us in a long-term approach, the development of event production, in our arena with multiple configurations.”
