Ticketmaster has appointed a new managing director in Switzerland in the form of Marc Boehrer.
Boehrer joins from See Tickets (formerly Starticket), where he has worked since 2015 and most recently as sales director.
ADA, the independent music distribution and artist services arm of Warner Music Group, has expanded its Southeast Asian footprint with enhanced operations in Indonesia and Thailand. As a result of the move, ADA has appointed Rasti Sryantoro as head of ADA Indonesia and Arisa Maruekatat as head of ADA Thailand.
Sryantoro brings nine years of experience in the music industry, having worked with organisations such as Sony Music. Maruekatat steps into the role of head of ADA Thailand having spent 18 years in the industry.
Elsewhere at Warner Music Group, Dan Rosen – who is currently president of Warner Music Australasia – will be expanding his role to encompass Warner Chappell Music, uniting the leadership of recorded music and publishing businesses across Australia and New Zealand.
Rosen will report to Guy Moot, co-chair and chief executive of Warner Chappell Music, as well as Simon Robson, president of EMEA, Recorded Music, who is currently overseeing the recorded music business in the APAC region.
The National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) has appointed Fabrice Sergent, co-founder and managing partner of Bandsintown, to the NIVA Advisory Board.
Sergent joins the likes of Christian McBride and other live entertainment leaders united in NIVA’s mission of empowering independent and grassroots venues in the US.
