Fanbase marks entry into English Football League
Fanbase has announced its first partnership in the English Football League, linking up with League One side Shrewsbury Town. The partnership will see fans benefit from a secure desktop and mobile-optimised experience, making it easier to purchase tickets and engage with the club. Elsewhere, Fanbase has also revealed a new deal with Scottish rugby union club Boroughmuir Rugby.
Green gigs
The English city of Liverpool (pictured) is set to host a series of concerts that will aim to highlight how live entertainment can be more sustainable. The shows form part of a launch weekend as Liverpool has been named the first Accelerator City for climate action, under the UN Climate Change Entertainment and Culture for Climate Action (ECCA) programme. Gig-goers will enjoy performances by the likes of Massive Attack, Idles and Nile Rodgers.
Flexibility
Ticketing company Platinumlist, which caters for the Middle East and North Africa region, has launched a new fan-to-fan ticket resale feature that allows users to securely buy and sell tickets. The resale feature is now live in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
