Germany’s Wizard Live welcomed more than one million attendees to its events over the last year – double the number in 2023.

The Frankfurt-based concert promoter brought acts such as AC/DC, Judas Priest, Toto and Zucchero to Germany, which attracted hundreds of thousands of fans to sold-out stadiums and arenas.

Additionally, the open-air tour of the Frankfurt-founded rock band Böhsen Onkelz was completely sold out, and 150,000 fans attended the ‘Wir gehören zusammen Tour’ from Nena. The tour encompassed 45 shows in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands and France.

Wizard Live celebrated its 20th anniversary this year, and over the last two decades has grown its business to not only focus on the biggest live entertainment moments, but also additional services such as marketing, brand building and mentoring artists.

“Our greatest joy and our greatest successes come from the close, trusting cooperation with our artists,” said managing director Oliver Hoppe.

“We at Wizard Live see ourselves not only as organisers, but as strategic, creative partners who create unique live successes together with the artists. Our goal is to make every performance an unforgettable moment – through intensive support, conceptual inspiration and a partnership that goes far beyond classic touring.”

In 2025, Wizard Live is already working on tours from acts such as Iron Maiden, Alison Moyet, Jamie Cullum, Judas Priest and Saxon. More than 500,000 tickets have already been sold for these tours.

Acts such as The Scorpions and Böhsen Onkelz will celebrate major anniversaries with a special hometown show in Hanover and a sold-out hall tour, respectively.

“Three years after probably the most challenging times in our industry, we can proudly say today: Wizard Live is back and stronger than ever,” added Hoppe.

“The pandemic has taught us to think adaptively and innovatively. With over one million visitors in 2024, an expanded portfolio and presales for top acts, we look to the future with confidence. For Wizard Live, 2025 will not only be a year of great anniversaries, but above all a year of new adventures.”
