Ticketmaster Sport has been named the official ticket supplier for a new professional netball franchise set to debut in 2025.

Birmingham Panthers will play in the Netball Super League, the UK’s highest level of competition featuring teams from England, Scotland and Wales.

The 2025 season will see the unveiling of NSL 2.0, a rebrand aimed at transforming professional netball in the UK. The aim is to raise the sport’s profile, strengthen fan engagement and deliver elevated matchday experiences.

There is a particular focus on accessibility and excitement, offering a revitalised platform for players and supporters, driving growth and attracting a new set of fans.

“We’re committed to offering our fans the best possible experience at every home match, and providing a state-of-the-art, digital-first ticketing experience through Ticketmaster is a key element of that vision,” said Sian Lawrence, franchise director of Birmingham Panthers.

“This partnership allows us to make ticketing seamless, flexible, and fully digital, enhancing the excitement of game day for fans and ensuring they have easy, enjoyable access to every thrilling moment on the court.”

Birmingham Panthers will be able to provide fans with a seamless, fully digital ticketing experience thanks to its partnership with Ticketmaster Sport. Features will include mobile-friendly entry and real-time updates.

“NSL 2.0 heralds a new era for professional netball across the UK and we’re proud to partner with Birmingham Panthers to elevate the fan experience through our advanced digital ticketing solutions,” added Chris Gratton, managing director of Ticketmaster Sport.

“With our platform, netball fans across Birmingham’s three venues will have easy access to tickets, benefiting from the same seamless service that Ticketmaster Sport provides nationwide. We’re here to make sure netball supporters enjoy a smooth, hassle-free ticketing journey every step of the way.”

The new franchise will host home games across the West Midlands region. Home venues include BP Pulse Live Arena in Birmingham; Worcester Arena; Coventry Skydome; and Utilita Arena, Birmingham.
