SeatGeek has extended its partnership with Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), meaning it will remain as the official ticket provider of Lord’s Cricket Ground.
The multi-year extension with the prestigious London cricket venue was announced today (Tuesday).
New York-headquartered SeatGeek has collaborated with the MCC to accelerate the adoption of mobile-first technology, ensuring a seamless and integrated ticketing experience through the dedicated Lord’s mobile app.
SeatGeek has also integrated premium hospitality offerings such as champagne and picnic hampers into its platform, elevating the in-venue experience for fans.
“Over the past five years, our close working relationship with SeatGeek has helped us modernise the ticketing experience, allowing us to transition seamlessly from paper tickets to a fully digital solution,” commented Jeff Wollen, MCC’s chief information officer.
“The platform’s technology has not only streamlined operations but also significantly enhanced the experience for our members and fans. We’re pleased to continue this collaboration, which has proven to be instrumental in shaping a more modern and efficient way for supporters to enjoy events at Lord’s.”
Jordan Hitchen, EMEA director at SeatGeek, added: “Our relationship with Lord’s reflects our shared commitment to redefining how fans engage with live events. By combining advanced technology with a deep understanding of the venue’s heritage and its supporters, we’re creating a ticketing experience that seamlessly blends tradition with innovation.”
