We round up the latest movements from the ticketing sector and associated industries…

Evan Marks (pictured) has been promoted to talent buyer in the Rocky Mountains region at AEG Presents. Marks previously served as a talent buyer assistant.

He will be based out of AEG Presents’ Denver office, reporting to Don Strasburg, president, Rocky Mountains and Pacific Northwest. Marks will book shows for a number of key venues in the region, including Mission Ballroom, Ogden Theatre, Gothic Theatre and Bluebird Theatre, as well as non-owned and operated venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

Sphere Entertainment Co. has brought in Marcus Ellington as executive vice president, ad sales and sponsorships.

In the new role, Ellington will develop relationships, and facilitate ad sales and sponsorships, maximising revenue and growth opportunities for the Sphere venue. He will manage client relations across Sphere’s marquee assets including the Exosphere – the venue’s fully programmable LED exterior.

FKP Scorpio Sweden has promoted Chris Rotenius to head of booking while Lola Loog has joined as a promoter.

Loog has joined the Swedish arm of the concert and festival promoter from All Things Live, where she has spent more than five years as a booker and event promoter. Meanwhile, Rotenius has over a decade of experience and has organised concerts with the likes of 50 Cent and Scorpions. He joined FKP Scorpio back in 2022.

ASM Global has named Lance Zanett as the new general manager of Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado.

Zanett has more than 25 years of experience with the venue, most recently in the position of the assistant general manager.
