Live entertainment discovery platform Fever’s listing as a principal partner of Chelsea FC has been removed from the English Premier League football club’s website just months after the collaboration was unveiled.
The two parties confirmed the partnership on August 18 by announcing that Fever’s logo would appear “on the men’s first-team kits”, as well as on the Chelsea Women and Academy players’ kits “for their forthcoming seasons”.
As recently as September 30, Fever was listed alongside principal partners Nike and BingX on Chelsea’s official website.
However, that listing has since been removed.
Fever’s logo was still visible on the sleeve of the team’s playing shirts in yesterday’s goalless draw at Everton.
Last week, Poland-based sports marketing expert Łukasz Bączeck posted on X that Chelsea and Fever had “ended their partnership prematurely due to the company’s financial problems”.
Bączeck added that it had “not been established whether Fever has paid the full annual sponsorship fee of €6m-€8m” and said that the Fever logo had also disappeared from the LED perimeter boards at the club’s Stamford Bridge stadium.

When contacted by TheTicketingBusiness, a Fever spokesperson denied these claims on X and added that further announcements would be made early in the New Year.
After confirming receipt of the request for clarification by TheTicketingBusiness on Friday, Chelsea did not offer any further comment before publication today (Monday, 4.30pm UK time).
Over the summer, Fever also signed a deal with Spanish LaLiga giant FC Barcelona, becoming its ticketing technology partner. Fever is still listed as a partner on the club’s website.
This deal with Barcelona was announced before the news emerged that Fever had been signed up as an official ticketing partner for music festival Primavera Sound.
Back in 2019, Fever raised $35m (£27.8m/€33.6m) in a funding round led by Rakuten Capital, the growth investment division of Tokyo-based internet services provider Rakuten.
A few years later, this was followed up with a $227m in a Goldman Sachs-led funding round.
In February 2023, Fever announced it had raised a further $110m in a funding round, also led by Goldman Sachs.
