Seat Unique has appointed Matt Timbrell as its new business development director, as the premium experiences company looks to continue its expansion in the industry.
Timbrell boasts experience across three FIFA World Cups in a career that spans 19 years. He has also previously managed premium sales operations for Silverstone circuit’s official hospitality programmes and tennis’ ATP Finals. Most recently, Timbrell held the role of sales director at Match Hospitality.
“I’ve always been driven by the idea of delivering exceptional service and extraordinary experiences. Joining Seat Unique at such an exciting time in its growth journey is an opportunity I couldn’t pass up,” said Timbrell.
“I look forward to helping the team build up its offerings and redefine premium fan experiences.”
Matt Judge, chief revenue officer at Seat Unique, added: “Matt brings a wealth of experience and a sharp, results-driven approach to our team. His leadership in the premium hospitality sector will be crucial as we continue to scale our business and exceed the expectations of our customers.
“We’re thrilled to have him on board as we prepare to shake up the market even more in 2025.”
Timbrell joins Seat Unique as it continues its rapid growth into the new year. In December, the company revealed it had secured a new partnership with athlete-led media and investment group, 4Cast. The business was founded by current and former England cricketers Ben Stokes, Jofra Archer, Jos Buttler and Stuart Broad.
