Discounted tickets to more than 100 shows have gone on sale for Chicago Theatre Week, which runs from February 6 to 16.
The initiative features tickets for $30 (£25/€29), $15, or less for musicals, improv performances, dramas and more across the city.
“Chicago Theatre Week is presented by the League of Chicago Theatres in partnership with Choose Chicago,” read a Choose Chicago statement.
“Now in its 13th year, this highly anticipated event allows visitors and locals to sample the extraordinary range of theatrical offerings throughout the Chicago area.
“With discounted tickets at Hot Tix, there’s no need to limit your theatre adventures to February! The spirit of Chicago theatre is found throughout our neighbourhoods, from downtown venues to neighbourhood storefronts, in a diverse collection of over 200 dynamic theatres.”
Productions such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Frida…A Self Portrait, and A Raisin in the Sun are all set to feature.
A wide range of venues across Chicago are taking part in the scheme including the likes of the Greenhouse Theater Center, Court Theatre, and the Drury Lane Theatre.
In 2024, the event saw more than 18,000 tickets sold to 81 participating productions for more than 446 performances in 64 theatres.
