Spanish LaLiga club Atlético de Madrid has kicked off 2025 with a record number of members.
The club has added more than 1,000 fans to take the total number of members to 145,638, overtaking the previous record of 144,372.
Additionally, the club boasts 60,874 season-ticket holders.
During the festive period, Atlético invited new members to join with the window open for the remainder of the season.
The club expects the number of members to increase in the coming weeks.
Members gain benefits such as priority and discounts on the purchase of tickets for matches at the club’s Riyadh Air Metropolitano stadium. Additionally, members will have the chance to purchase tickets for away matches, free access for Atleti B and the women’s first team matches, discounts in official stores, and discounts on the stadium tour and the Territorio Atleti museum.
Atlético’s home ground was renamed Riyadh Air Metropolitano back in October, with the Saudi Arabian airline taking over from real estate developer Cívitas.
The stadium now has a capacity of 70,692, an increase on the initial capacity of 70,460, thanks to two new Skyboxes, expanded VIP lounges and new spaces for fans with disabilities.
