Belfast’s SSE Arena has renewed its partnership with Ticketmaster, celebrating 25 years of the two working together.
Since its opening in 2000, the venue has provided live entertainment for people in the Northern Irish capital.
“Ticketmaster has been with us every step of the way over the last 25 years,” said Claire Cosgrave, associate director of experience at The Odyssey Trust which operates the venue.
“With their unrivalled reach, technology and team of experts, together, we’re making sure every fan has the best experience every time – from buying a ticket right through to seamless entry. We look forward to many more unforgettable moments of live entertainment to come.”
The SSE Arena was one of the first arenas in the UK to go 100% digital and has adopted technology such as Ticketmaster’s SafeTix which ensures contactless entry.
“The SSE Arena has always been ahead of the game when it comes to creating amazing live experiences for fans,” said managing director of Ticketmaster Ireland Keith English.
“We’re so proud to have been part of their journey for the past 25 years and to continue working together as the demand for live events in Northern Ireland continues to boom.”
Beyond ticketing, the arena is also eliminating single-use plastic cups in a bid to become more sustainable.
