Around 347,000 people registered for the first phase of ticketing sales for the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
All those that registered on the official ticketing portal are guaranteed entry in the priority draw which will determine the order of ticket purchase timeslots.
Sales are due to begin on February 6 for registrants, with each user allowed to purchase up to a maximum of 25 tickets.
Registered users will be randomly assigned purchase timeslots with a 48-hour window to buy their preferred tickets.
Those who have not yet registered will have to wait until April for the second phase of ticketing sales, with an exact date still to be announced.
Of the people that registered, more than 70% came from outside of host nation Italy. The US, Germany, and the UK had the highest number of users on the Games’ Fan26 digital community.
The Games are due to run from February 6-22 next year in what is set to be Italy’s third hosting of the Winter Olympics.
The Winter Paralympic Games will follow from March 6-15, 2026 and tickets will be available from March this year.
