Skiddle facilitated what it has described as an unprecedented £163m ($203m/€193m) in face-value ticket sales in 2024, which marks an increase of 18% from the previous year.
The platform served more than 157,000 events and sold 7.7 million tickets while welcoming around 18,000 new accounts in 2024.
“A year marked by a surge in ticket sales and attendance, driven by increasing demand for experience-driven events, resilience in the festival sector, and heightened government support for the grassroots scene, 2024 brought both challenges and opportunities,” read a Skiddle statement.
“Throughout this changeable period, Skiddle remained a steadfast partner for event organisers, ensuring seamless experiences for both organisers and audiences alike, as demonstrated by the statistics provided.”
Skiddle has made customer service one of its priorities, handling approximately 29,000 calls to maintain its place as the highest-reviewed ticketing platform on reviews.io.
The company has now turned its attention to 2025.
“With 2025 now well underway, Skiddle’s focus is on continuing its high level of support for event organisers based across the UK and Europe,” the statement continued.
“The platform is committed to driving success for organisers by constantly innovating its market-leading event-listing suite, the Skiddle Promotion Centre while providing exceptional ticket-buying experiences for audiences.”
