AEG has realigned its international business divisions, with promotions for Adam Wilkes and Alex Hill.
Hill will assume the new position of president and chief executive of AEG International while Wilkes will become president and chief executive of AEG Presents, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
The company is seeking to better serve its “ambitious strategic growth initiatives around the globe” with the move.
“This new management structure aligns our international organization with our corporate business and allows us to better focus our resources to best manage our existing businesses while also achieving our ambitious strategic growth initiatives around the globe,” said Dan Beckerman, president and chief executive of AEG.
“By ensuring that our talent is focused on the right opportunities, we will be well positioned to deliver growth, as well as new experiences and innovative services for our global artists, partners and fans.”

CEO named for inaugural SXSW London
Max Alexander has been appointed chief executive of the first South by Southwest (SXSW) London festival which is set to take place from June 2 to 7.
He will be responsible for business and brand strategy, and growth with the aim of developing the festival into an annual event.
“It’s a privilege to work with an iconic brand as storied as SXSW and to bring it to the greatest city on Earth – London,” Alexander said.
“SXSW breaks silos, enables and induces the mingling of diverse domains, skills, and experiences, ultimately making firsts happen. I’m excited to lead SXSW London into this next chapter and build a festival that resonates with audiences across Europe and beyond.”
Brian Arnone has joined Showpass as its chief strategy officer, bringing 25 years of experience in the event and ticketing technology industry.

European Professional Club Rugby has hired Pauline Lotmani as its new ticketing manager.
Previously, she served as ticketing project manager for the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
Her short-term focus now is to maximise the ticket sales for the EPCR semi-finals, and the Champions Cup and Challenge Cup Finals Weekend in Cardiff.
Golden takes Pechanga Arena role
ASM Global has promoted Ryan Golden to general manager of Pechanga Arena in San Diego.
For the last four years, Golden has held the position of assistant general manager at the 14,000- capacity venue.
“Ryan has a deep understanding of the arena’s operations; and over the past few years, he has proven he is the right person to take over at the helm,” said Felix Mussenden, senior vice president, arenas, stadiums and theatres for ASM Global, which manages the venue.
“His experience in the industry, combined with his passion for sports and live entertainment, will be key for the next chapter of growth and success for Pechanga Arena.”
Marie Marinelli has started a new role as ticketing operations and product manager at TicketOne, which is the official ticketing provider for the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.
New York City FC has appointed three new individuals to its membership services team in the form of Lily Emlong, Eduardo Calvo Salinas, and Bridget Welch.
They are tasked with enhancing the Major League Soccer club’s membership experience in 2025.
