AXS has renewed its partnership with Indian Wells Tennis Garden, which is home to the BNP Paribas Open.
The facility, which was built in 2000 at a cost of $77m (£61.7m/€73.7m), will continue to use the ticketing company’s technology including AXS Mobile ID, data and reporting, and 3D maps.
“AXS has been a critical partner for our event, providing expert service and consistently bringing new technology forward to drive a more seamless ticketing experience for our fans,” said Philippe Dore, chief marketing officer of the BNP Paribas Open and the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.
“We are excited to continue our partnership and keep working together to give fans in Indian Wells a world-class ticketing service that mirrors our world-class atmosphere.”
The BNP Paribas Open is the best-attended tennis tournament outside of the four Grand Slam events, with the 2024 edition drawing in a record overall attendance of 493,000 fans.
Single session tickets for the 2025 event in California, scheduled to take place from March 2 to 16, are now on sale with fans able to reserve their seats for individual days.
Supporters will then be able to access their tickets through a mobile app.
“Our focus on innovation and client service allows Indian Wells to provide fans with an even better event experience,” said Vito Iaia, chief revenue officer at AXS.
“We value our strong relationship with the Indian Wells Tennis Garden and are excited to continue to work with the team.”
