Leap Event Technology’s latest deal adds layer of protection against weather

Leap Event Technology’s collaboration with Sensible Weather will see guests have the option of securing a weather guarantee when purchasing tickets for outdoor experiences and events.

The partnership will benefit organisers across the US that utilise Leap’s self-service ticketing solution, TicketLeap.

Sensible’s Weather Guarantee offers guests the option to receive up to 100% reimbursement of their event ticket price if rain is forecast to exceed the predetermined threshold during their booking.

If ticket-holders are eligible for a payout, guests will be notified on the morning of their event and the reimbursement will be processed automatically.

Leap Event Technology began offering weather guarantees to organisers selling tickets on TicketLeap for more than 120 events across 35 US states during the autumn months last year.

Leap Event Technology offers all-in-one suite ticketing, mobile apps, experiential marketing, CRM, merchant services and event management tools, all combined with marketing and analytics services.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that the business had partnered with Supanova Comic Con & Gaming. The move marked the debut of its event technology solutions in the Australian market.
