Australian music and events promoter Untitled Group saw a surge in ticket sales during 2024 thanks to a strong New Year festivals showing.

Untitled’s 630,000 ticket sales in 2024 was a sizeable increase on the 500,000 estimated sales in 2023.

The company’s New Year’s festivals are said to have spurred the record figure. These include Beyond the Valley, which hosted around 35,000 people to cement its status as Australia’s largest camping and music festival. Last year’s edition featured a special reunion set by Sugababes and Natasha Bedingfield’s first-ever Australian performance.

Meanwhile, Wildlands drew over 85,000 attendees across Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide, and featured artists such as Ice Spice, Tinashe, Fisher, Marlon Hoffstadt, RL Grime and more.

“Untitled Group’s success extended beyond the New Year’s festivals. Dom Dolla’s Australian tour set a new record, with 170,000 tickets sold — the highest ever for an Australian electronic artist,” read a statement from Untitled Group.

“The company also orchestrated an impressive 515 shows throughout 2024, with sold-out tours by Ben Böhmer, I Hate Models, Solomun, and Anyma.”

Untitled Group also celebrated significant internal growth, expanding its team to 77 staff members. Major new initiatives included the expansion of AO LIVE and the debut of Ability Fest Brisbane, which highlights its commitment to innovation and inclusivity in live entertainment.
