Ticketing company Eventix has entered into a new partnership with music streaming service Spotify.
The collaboration will allow live music organisers to list their events on Spotify through Eventix and promote shows across multiple channels.
This includes on artist pages and below their tracks as fans listen to music.
“We are excited to partner with Spotify to bring this solution to our event organisers and music fans alike,” said Eventix chief executive Joost Aanen.
“This partnership is a step towards bridging the gap between artists and their audiences. It’s about promoting your events where the fans are, and there’s no better place for that than Spotify, where people are listening every day.”
Eventix hopes to make use of Spotify’s user base, which stands at more than 626 million, to improve the visibility of live events.
It will do this by promoting them where fans are already engaging with artists on a daily basis.
The shows listed on Spotify will directly link to a ticket shop powered by Eventix with the aim of making it easier for fans to attend live shows.
