Immerse LDN has surpassed one million ticket sales after just over two years of operations at the Excel London waterside venue.
The milestone has helped to establish it as one of the UK’s best immersive entertainment destinations.
Productions such as Jurassic World: The Exhibition in 2022 and Disney100: The Exhibition the following year have led to high visitor numbers, with the former selling 315,000 tickets.
“Selling one million tickets so quickly highlights the universal appeal of the immersive entertainment sector and the quality of our partners to create such popular attractions,” said director of immersive entertainment and events at Excel London, Damian Norman.
“Whilst milestones are important, 2025 will represent the full opening of Immerse LDN as we open three more experiences in the coming months.
“We are excited to fully open the destination and look forward to welcoming some ground-breaking new attractions in the near future.”
Currently, the venue hosts productions such as The Friends Experience: The One In London and The Formula 1 Exhibition.
Later this year, an exhibition focused on Tutankhamun is set to open in March before a tribute to Elvis Presley in May.
“From Jurassic World to Tutankhamun, we’ve collaborated closely with the Immerse LDN team to make Excel London a destination for world-class immersive exhibitions,” said FKP Scorpio Entertainment LTD James Cassidy.
“With our fourth production now underway, we’re already looking ahead to the next million tickets.”
Immerse LDN stretches a kilometre along Excel London’s waterfront and is part of its £300m ($372m/€360m) regeneration programme, which is expected to help to attract more than 2.5 million visitors annually.
